Red Riding Hood Storybook Canvas Design
Here's another something I am so anxious to see on canvas. I can't guarantee that this design is 100% finished . . . we'll see what happens before now and when I send it to print. :)
{S. starring as "Little Red" and the wolf is played by a wolf-like dog I saw at the park yesterday. I tell you, I am always watching out for these kind of things!}
Open for opinions here-- is this "too scary" for a child's canvas? Do you think it would induce nightmares or engender imagination and creativity? DH says he thinks it is a bit dark. Considering the wolf is really a wolf-like dog, does that make it less scary?
More storybook canvases on the way . . . I am having too much fun with these!!

Oh my goodness!!!
You've done it again. This is insane! I love it! Not dark at all and I made Casey look at it and he totally agreed. WOW!!!!

I LOVE it! I don't think it's too dark -- it's very theatrical and that's right up my alley. I could even picture this as a promo photo in the children's section of a bookstore or library. It's awesome and now I'm getting all sorts of ideas for a series you could do. Fun, fun!
I love the illustration; everything comes together beautifully. I also like the new blog design!
you are amazing, amy!!! i absolutely love seeing your talent!
I love it, Amy! I'd love to see it on the canvas when it comes!!!
